An Exploration of Earth Pigments in North Devon
An ongoing project initiated in 2008 with Appledore Visual Arts Festival and the Museum of Barnstaple & North Devon to research the occurrence, history and uses of earth pigments in North Devon, recently resulting in a presentation at the Ussher Society (GeoScience SouthWest) Annual Conference 2011 and collaborative projects with the Camborne School of Mines and Plymouth University Chemistry Department.
